SECP registered 348 companies in July 

1. SECP registered 348 companies and licensed 3 non-profit associations in July

2. Company Registration Office Lahore registered 120 companies followed by CROs in Islamabad and Karachi with 92 and 82 companies respectively

3. 41 companies, each, have been registered in services and trading sector, followed by 29 and 27 companies in I.T. and tourism sector respectively

4. Foreign investment has been witnessed in 20 new companies

Online filing of SECP returns made mandatory for certain companies

With effect on September 1, 2014.

1- all public companies (listed and unlisted), private/single member companies having paid-up capital of Rs50 million or above,

2- all companies not for profit licensed under section 42 of the Companies Ordinance, trade bodies,

3- companies which have been incorporated through eServices online filing facility,

4-or have filed last return/document through eServices.

Government of Pakistan has given this opportunity to those NTN holders, who have not filed their tax returns.

Last date of incentive is 30th April, 2014
